Through the years the Mansfield ISD Foundation has provided funds for innovative teaching grants that have benefited Mansfield teachers and students. Mansfield ISD teachers can apply to the Foundation for funds to implement creative teaching ideas in their classrooms.

Allen J. Oliver Productions produced this instructional video for the MISD Education Foundation, which is designed to help Mansfield ISD teachers better understand the guidelines for Grant Writing Applications. It reviews a description of instructional procedures, methods of activities, which will be utilized, number of students impacted, evaluation procedures, amount of funds requested and the objectives.

We also cover information about persons eligible to apply for grants, awarding of funds, selection process, responsibility of grant recipient, and the guidelines for completing the application. And finally we will show you some successfully awarded grants taking place in classrooms today.
