It's a time for new teachers and administrators to be welcomed by the district.
Usually, there is an optional entertainment or a guest speaker. Each school district looks to do something memorable to start the New Year.
Duncanville ISD is proud to announce their TEA status as a Recognized District with the unveiling of their new look for 2001-2002. Robert Harris leads administrators and staff in a dance mega mix to the tune of "We are recognized". Confetti cannons and balloons explode in the grand finally.
Dr. Cook closes the show encouraging everyone to "think exemplary".
