Harrison Homes Custom Builders is a premier custom homebuilder. They
have built hundreds of homes for their customers all over the Metroplex.
We produced a brief inside look at Harris Homes and owner Ed Harrison,
featuring a tour of the Estates of Windmill Hill - featured in the
Parade Homes 2001. In a joint effort, Duncanville ISD participated
with it's own added vignette offering information about their TEA
Recognized School District.
Harrison Homes Custom Builders is one of only a hand full of builders
who has completed the stringent requirements to earn the coveted
"Certified Graduate Builder" status from the National
Association of Home Builders. Harrison Homes Custom Builders is
also the recipient of numerous design awards. Today one has to stay
abreast of new trends and events in their chosen field. That is
why Ed Harrison, President of Harrison Homes Custom Builders, is
a member of the board of directors of the National Association of
Home Builders, the Texas Association of Builders and the Home Builders
Association of Greater Dallas. When then governor George Bush assembled
the Texas Task Force on housing affordability, he picked Ed to be
one of its members. Then the other Task Force Members voted Ed to
be their chairman, due to his extensive knowledge of housing.
Timeless, traditional architecture featuring clean lines, high
ceilings and special touches throughout our homes create a feeling
of unparalleled spaciousness. The two story formal living room in
the home's rotunda, the master suite's 17' ceiling with mood-setting
fiber optic lighting recessed into the crown molding and see through
fireplace into the master bath define elegance as standard issue
for this executive home. Upstairs the walkout balcony doubles as
a cover for the veranda beneath and overlooks the cascading waterfall
of the sparkling natural shaped pool with its deep blue-gray water
and 18" raised spa.
A blend of old elegance that is traditional, yet classic and timeless
in style, the interior of this strikingly refined home features
numerous lighted and hand painted arched niches, echoing the serenity
of the South of France. The master suite's oversized Jacuzzi tub
is elevated for a place of prominence next to the extra large and
stunning glass block shower. Upstairs, the media theater's décor
is strongly reminiscent of the 1940's with an array of artwork capturing
that glamorous era. Combining the styles of the past with high-end
technology of today creates an atmosphere that makes this home comfortable,
yet ready for the 21st century!
